Dance Recital Weekend / Opening Day at the Ballpark!
What a Saturday~ I wasn't sure I would make it thru the crazy weekend!
We had dress rehearsal Friday night and went early to watch the little girls! They are so cute!
We never got home until about 11!

Up early Sat. for opening day at the ballpark for Sidney and Kenzie! I had to get mom and Judy to help since Scott was farming! Kerstin off for her hair appt. then I picked her up and we headed to the 1:00 performance! Home for a little bit to re-group, eat and head up to the PAC for round 2!

I LOVE WATCHING those girls dance (and boys) they are so amazing and entertaining! When we got home late last night Kerstin couldn't wind down and wants to dance MORE!!!

What's happening at our house!
First, I was informed from a long time friend how bad I am getting about updating our blog! SORRY! We have been (and are) so busy! My sister and sister in law got into facebook so now when I have a few moments I am on there! Here's a quick update and a few photos!

Scott is busy working and is now a trustee for Ridge Township. This adds to his long list of jobs! I think with his experience at the quarry, cemetery and knowledge of a lot of stuff....he will be great at this job!

I am knee deep in our Relay for Life! I am the Chair of Team Retention this year and loving working w/ the teams! I am also assisting as co-chair to an amazing chairperson! The Relay is May 8-9th at Marsh Foundation in VW! Stop out and eat some great food, enjoy the entertainment and help a great cause! Or visit: www.relayforlife.org/vanwertcounty
I am on the Basket Buddies team!
Add the volunteering at school, mowing cemetery, helping w/ cloverbuds and well...you can see I have way to much on my plate! Fear not...everything will be in order by June 10 when school is out so we Can enjoy our 9 weeks of summer! The best part of being my own boss! SUMMER w/ MY GIRLS!
McKenzie started softball (her fav sport) and has 3 practices a week! And her little piggies will come this week for 4H! We are getting them quite small this year so even the other 2 girls are excited!

Kerstin had her last dance comp. yesterday and they did very well! GO KHDW! She has recital in a few short weeks and then she'll be dancing on a carnival cruise in June!

Sidney had her first gymnastics meet Friday night and did very well! She starts t-ball soon and will have Pre-school graduation coming up!

Busy...busy...busy!
O...I almost forgot....my new niece Josie! She was born about 5 weeks ago! She is amazing, beautiful and sweet!!!! Congrats to my bro Jason and sister in law Callie! I think big sisters Allyson and Marissa like her a little too! ;-)

Happy Mother's Day to all my friends & family! Hugs and Love.

Amber

Feb. St.Patrick's Baskets!
Fun ways to organize and black baskets!

Great new 'made in america' pottery pieces!

Growing up with Longaberger!
My girls have know Longaberger their entire lives. I am thankful it's been a profitable sales career for me. Last night we hosted an event in Lima where over 500 guests attended! We had product displays, refreshments, prizes and people starting new careers! Tons of fun! Tami Longaberger came to the event as our guest speaker and offered to do signatures and photos! She spoke about how Longaberger is the perfect opportunity in todays economy!
Sid stayed home w/ Dad but the other two couldn't be kept away! They claim it was awesome and they were never bored? It really was a fun night!

Today I will print a retraction...
Tracy you know I love you and we share a long standing friendship. I can always count on you! Sorry about 'stupid' in my blog. Although, I am exhausted and the laundry is over taking the house it was kind of fun to figure out 16 things about myself. Thanks for tagging me!

16 Things about myself....

For some stupid reason my friend Tracy http://meyersfort.blogspot.com/ thinks I have nothing to do w/ my time and has tagged me to play a blog game. I am suppose to log 16 'interesting' things about myself to share w/ all of you. Scott is in the room so I am sure he will help!
  1. I am the oldest of 3 children
  2. We have 3 girls
  3. All our girls are 3 years apart
  4. I started college for criminal psychology but stopped after freshman year since I couldn't bear to leave Scott and move to Dayton.
  5. Went back to school after a semester off and got my degree in Business Admin. and marketing from UNOH
  6. I am the co-chair for Van Wert County Relay for life and chair of team retention/recruitment
  7. I love to travel! The let down sucks bad so I'll have to start planning the next trip. (been home 2 days) lol
  8. I have 4 jobs plus being a MOM! They include: Longaberger sales manager, back up secretary at Ridge stone quarry, Payroll for UPS store and mowing cemetery. Seems like one full time job would be easier but that would interfere w/ the travel mentioned above.
  9. I have 2 nieces and 2 nephews and one on the way!!! :-)
  10. I once interviewed Barry Larkin who played for Cincinnati Reds (or maybe still does?)
  11. I am allergic to rum
  12. Got caught by sheriff TP'ing our superintendants house my senior year and had to go apologize to him the next Monday at school
  13. Fav color is pink. I never used to like it much but over the past few years I'm really into it.
  14. I was a big hit in Home Economics yet rarely cook fancy recipes now because I hate the clean up...
  15. I have huge issues with laundry...hate it, can never finish it or make it go away
  16. I'm a big fan of Mickey Mouse!

Sorry Stacie...Tracy already tagged me and actually called (was that cheating?) so I will tag Julie!

Hugs Girls!

We are back from vacation! Thanks so much to everyone who helped us w/ the girls while we were gone! We had an amazing time and made so great new friends! Here are a few photos!

Those of you who have April's blog site have already seen this photo
but I also wanted to share w/ my friends! Cousins are so great and fun!
It's amazing how the older girls are so grown up! How can they be so
old? Aren't I still 25??

Kerstin

Sidney

We just returned home from our first family trip snowmobiling! The girls really had a great time! We rode 3 days about 60-70 miles each day! We met up w/ several other families to celebrate the new year! They enjoyed the ski slopes while we hit the trails!

Here are a few photos! Happy New Year!
