Say a little prayer!

As many of you know April's husband 'JB' is scheduled to deploy to Afghanistan for 7 months. He leaves in July.

JB is trained for this and will make it his main mission to return home safe to his boys and my sister. Still....it's scary and worrisome. Please take a moment to say a prayer for them.

Before......

After...

History....

Old Barns are seen all around. Lately they seem to always draw my attention. Who built that barn, how proud they must have been, how many summers did they spend painting their barn, I am confident each barn is rich in history and holds many stories!

On our farm we have a couple of amazing structures. As with everything, newer and better comes along and down with the old.

The boys have all told me our barns are no longer useful so they are coming down. The corn crib today and by next summer the round barn.

Yesterday I shot some photos of the girls at near both barns. Today, one is almost gone.

Happy Father's Day!

I also need some photos of our corn crib and round barn. I will be using it as my photo back drop most of the summer! I love them and their heritage; Unfortunately, they serve no purpose and are falling apart. We will be tearing them down next summer! ;(

Summer Fun!!
I love summer break! No schedules....no routine! Well...not much unless you count tumbling class, 4H and softball. Regardless, we are in full summer mode! Summer is the best part about being a stay at home mom!!!

Kenzie got a 4.0 GPA and the highest in her class so she is pumped and ready for 5th grade!
Kerstin was sobbing when she left Mrs.Cox and 1st grade but seems to be adjusting!

We just got home from an amazing 5 day trip to FL and a Carnival Cruise! Judy, the girls and I took off the last day of school and flew to Tampa then took a 4 day cruise! We spent a ton of time at the waterpark on the ship and made so many memories!

Kerstin was able to perform w/ the KHDW girls on the ship and she did an amazing job! There were a few times when she was basically on stage dancing alone in front of a ton of people! She says it was the BEST part of the trip!

They were all sad to get off the boat and mostly wanted to come get their Dad and go back~
We also hit the FL Aquarium when we got off the boat before flying home!
