Summer fun 2007!

Summer has been so much fun w/ the girls! We have done a lot of camping, went to The Beach Water park, Celebrated birthdays, went to Newport Aquarium and lots of swimming!
Kerstin has her first day of Kindergarden on Aug.23rd and did great at her dance recital! She has been dancing most of the summer and loves it! She also played t-ball this year, summer swim class and attended bible school!

McKenzie starts 3rd grade on the 22nd! She played softball this summer and also participated in the spring dance recital. She has decided dancing isn't her thing and will stick to sports! She is looking forward to school starting and basketball! She also did two bible schools one with her cousin and one with her sisters!

Sidney is a very busy 3 year old! She attended one bible school and absolutely LOVED it! She thinks she's going to pre-school this fall but we'll just see! :)

She talks non-stop all day and is a ball of fun!

Here are some photos! I hope everyone is doing well! We are all in good health and loving our summer!

Much Love to all!

Kerstin is going full swing in her second year of dance! She loves it and we spent 3 hours on photos last night! Yes, I said 3~ there were photos in each costume, individual and group shots! We are looking forward to our first competition in April! And recital in May.
McKenzie is actually involved at the studio this year as well. She is taking cheer class! Her photos are tomororw but we only have one costume and I doubt she'll want to do the whole make up thing! Here is a photo of Miss. Kerstin with Carly Wendel (the little girl I babysit for and one of Kerstin's best friends).
Today Kerstin had kindergarten shots. 4 of them! It wasn't much fun! But we are really excited about kindergarten screening next week!

Yesterday we took a bus trip to The Longaberger Homestead!! It was a fundraiser trip for VW Co. Relay for life! During the trip 19 of our guests attended lunch at Tami Longaberger's Home-Eschamn Meadows. It's not guaranteed Tami will be home--to our surprise, she was yesterday! I was so honored! I have heard her speak so many times and always admired her but never actually met her or had her signature! It was so wonderful! The first photo is of Home consultants and Branch Leaders who were present (it's a bad one of me but good of Tami) the second is of 2 gals from our tour w/ Tami. There were other photos taken but these are the only ones I have today! It was so much fun and SO....Exciting!! Just had to share!

WINTER FUN!!!
Today it snowed again but is a bit warmer! McKenzie set out to build a monster fort! Her wimpy sisters gave up and came inside but McKenzie kept working! (with a lot of help from Daisy!)
unfortunately, the fort isn't finished and she's coloring and watching a movie now!
Maybe we can finish it tomorrow....
Daddy is off on a snowmobile poker run and I'm sure in the height of his glory today! He's been dyeing to ride and so grouchy when he can't!
McKenzie did a great job at her BBall game today and only has one more game this season!

Our fun Sunday visit to BUILD A BEAR!
Thanks Uncle Ron for a great Christmas gift!
McKenzie made a basketball dog--Kerstin made a tie-died color bear and Sidney did Pooh!

More photos from Payton's visit!
It was so great to see them! We never have enough time! :(
We took time to have all the grandkids photographed for V-Day and it turned out spectacular!
April tried to give Payton a bath at our house and had tons of helpers!

SIDNEY JO!
Always doing something to make us smile!

I must say I' m pretty disappointed in what a "blizzard" actually is...Nothing more than a little snow and wind! It did get me out of work today so that was nice!

It also deters little Daisy from going outside to do her business!! She almost blows away!
Here is a photo of her and Sidney avoiding bed time! Sid was almost asleep and Daisy was trying hard too! It's hard to see sine I used my camera phone! I was trying to be quiet and sneaky!

Meet our newest family member--Daisy!
Since we lost Charlie we have been trying to find a dog that would be a good "fit" for our family!
We were looking for something small but yesterday we received a call from the Animal protective league about a couple of puppies. When we arrived at the home where they were kept it was more horrible! They had a total of 8 dogs and 3 were being kept outside (Daisy was one)! It's like 20 below in Ohio or something crazy like that! She needed a home and a family to love her!! She is a mutt w/ schnauzer and maybe some retriever or lab or shelitie (we don't really know)! She is very calm so far and the girls love her! My dad was with us and I'm so shocked he didn't take the other puppy! Although, I think mom would have killed him!

This week Sid had her first hair cut! She LOVED IT!

Kerstin and Daddy play at McKenzie's basketball game!

McKenzie was the first one announced and out on the floor today for the Lady Bears! She did a great job!

Sidney Jo!!!
Sid is so much fun and always in so much trouble right now! She is finally learning to use the potty! And is confident her daddy is taking her to Cinderella's house (the castle..way over there in FL) when she wears panties! She got a new C-rella dress yesterday and just loves it! By this point in our day she has lost her tights and is into Kerstin's boots!

Formal night and group shots from Cruise!

The girls really missed us! They were ready with a fun homecoming and welcome home sign in the kitchen!
Kerstin learned a FUN trick from Uncle Jason-how to follow her finger to her nose and cross her eyes--Thanks Jason!!! :)
Thanks Mom, Dad, Lindy, Roger, Judy, Jason and Callie for all your help while we were away! Oh..and Ron for babysitting for our goldfish! Who I actually forgot about until yesterday!
A very special visit from Germany--Nicki stopped by for a quick visit! This also allowed us to see Julie and baby Caleb! Thanks for stopping! The only thing better is if April could have been here too!

Happy Holidays!
This past week Kerstin had a pre-K Christmas program during the Sunday service at her pre-school! They sang two songs and she sang loud and proud!!

On Tuesday night Lincolnview Elementary hosted their Grades 1-3 Christmas program! This was double fun as our niece Marissa is in 1st grade! We enjoyed watching McKenzie and Marissa sing! McKenzie was a little apprehensive since she'd missed several practices when she was out for the chickenpox!

Next week-Miss McKenzie is reading during Christmas eve mass! This is a large service and the first time for her to read in front of the church!

They both have Holiday parties and exchanges at school this week and we are all looking forward to Christmas break!

Tree Trimming Fun!
Everyone is anxious for the big holiday! Our tree is up and we have seen Santa!
Our lists are ready! McKenzie and Kerstin claim to have been "good" girls! Sid bluntly told Santa she is only good "sometimes!"
