New pantry! SO...huge

We are nearly finished with our renovation!! A HUGE thank you to Henkle Construction! Stacy is amazing and we are grateful he agreed to take on our project! Today the island was set, pantry put in and new cabinets installed!

My dad and I took apart an amazing desk (THANKS SANDI) so we could fit it into my new office and re-assembled it!

Dad --THANK YOU! You have been a huge asset in helping me set up my 'dream office' I know this seems silly but our old nursery has been transformed into a great, peaceful place for ME!! Selfish or not....I can't wait to get everything in it's place! Tonight I moved the computer and Judy helped me hang some curtains! Thanks Judy!

Bad things that happened today?? Dare I say....I lost the check book (OOPS) Didn't really loose it today but realized today it's missing! UGH!

I'm exhausted!

O and (your going to LOVE this) "Cabinet Guy" installed the WRONG COUNTER TOPS in my new, beautiful, amazing, kitchen! AAHHHH.................................

Waiting for Scott to get home from the lake to offer some in site on the situation!

Tons of cleaning and organizing over the next few weeks to get everything back in it's place!

Thanks goodness! The wait is over and our prayers are answered! JB my fav. brother in law has safely returned to the arms of my baby sister in HI! After 8 months in Afghanistan he is home! It's so hard for me to be away from my sister and her family! It was extremely difficult when JB was gone. I am so proud of him, his service to our country and ability to help protect our freedoms! Our family is so blessed she found such an amazing man to marry! I love them both! WELCOME HOME!!!

Today Judy and I painted the hallway from back door to my bedroom. The color Milkweed pod ended up being the same color in half my laundry room and looks amazing with the tile. It really adds warmth to the hall and I am LOVING that the contractor white is gone! It will help with dirt and scuff marks too!

Yesterday Judy and Scott painted the living room around the new opening (same color I had) and this a.m. I did the corner by the stairs to complete the room.

Tomorrow we are painting the kitchen and dining room including the sofit paprika (same color I have). We also met w/ the cabinet maker today. He came yesterday to inform me he couldn't match my new cabinets to my existing cabinets! =( After he said he could. He wanted me to replace all my cabinets which #1 they are good cabinets and only 12 years old #2 I LOVE THEM! #3 We are maxed on budget! So Scott and I met w/ him today at his shop and we decided to just get new doors for the existing cabinets. We also picked our hardware AND he has my island started so he took us into the shop to show us! I am very excited! He was also doing an entertainment center straight from Pottery Barn catalog! WOW!

Had a nice lunch with Scott too!
