Washington DC Trip 2010
McKenzie's 6th grade class went to DC for a week. We spent 2 nights sleeping on the bus (YUCK) but the rest of the trip was AMAZING! What a great city. The architecture, history and memorials really make you appreciate everyone who has given so much for our freedoms! McKenzie took over 500 pics and is going to make an album. If you'd like to see more we can send you the snapfish link!

We watched the changing of the guard at Arlington and our school had a wreath laying ceremony.

The Hope Diamond!

Me and Kenz when we climbed to the TOP of this huge tower at Gettysburg
battlefield! I think we walked 800 miles that week!

McKenzie holding the Washington Monument in her fingers.

Mt.Vernon - George Washington's home. NEAT!

Love the photo of Mt Vernon. I want to go there now! Next time we're back in Annapolis we'll have to take a trip down to it.
